Introduction
This course provides a detailed legal overview to personnel involved in airworthiness. Airworthiness has a number of aspects which relate to the legal and physical state of an aircraft. Certification of airworthiness is maintained by performing the required maintenance actions. The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) requirements and EU Implementing Rules (IR)s in aviation regulation govern the measures and requirements for Initial Airworthiness and Continuing Airworthiness in maintaining Airworthiness for safe flight operations.
Course Objective
The course will give participants a broad understanding of international aviation law and European aviation law on aircraft airworthiness and maintenance aspects. An outline of the legislation structure and basic interpretation will enable participants to source and understand respective legal documents relative to their line of work.
Target Audience
Part-145 Organisations: Planning and Aircraft Engineers, Compliance Monitoring Managers and auditors. Competent Authorities: Continuing Airworthiness Inspecting Officers.
