Introduction
The training programme provides essential Initial knowledge and understanding of Safety Management including Human Factors (HF) aspects for personnel at all levels of maintenance and support organizations. The programme outlines the interaction between HF principles and the organization’s safety reporting and SMS systems.
Course Objective
On completion, the learners should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the safety management principles, how SMS, Risk and Human Factors combine in daily activities and how such interact in the management of safety in relation to their job function.
Target Audience
Personnel involved in Aviation Maintenance and Aircraft Engineering. Part-CAMO and/or Part-145 Organisations: Nominated Persons and Management, Compliance & Safety Personnel, and staff directly involved in the certification of aircraft and component maintenance. Competent Authorities: Inspectors and Auditors.
