Introduction
This course covers the differences between the Airbus A319/A320/A321 (CEO) aircraft powered by the CFM 56 engine or IAE V2500 engine to the Airbus A319/A320/A321 (NEO) aircraft powered by the CFM LEAP- 1A engine.
This approved type training differences course, Theory and practical element course are in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 of the European Parliament and of the Council and with Commission Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014.
Course Outline
The Practical Element Course is conducted in a maintenance environment, conducted on the live aircraft type. The assessor/s and trainees shall work according to the procedures and instructions of the maintenance environment company in line with the approved training procedure.
Target Groups
Part of the Practical Element Course is conducted in a briefing room/classroom environment. The instructor/assessor(s) and trainees shall avail of the aircraft type manuals. The instructor/assessor shall engage the trainees in task procedures and instructions of the maintenance activity using audiovisual media aids and mentoring techniques.
